Author: Kristian J. Sund.Paperback: 124 pages.ISBN: 978-1-905424-04-7
One of the differences between successful and unsuccessful organizations is that successful organizations seem better at identifying and understanding key trends and changes in the external environment. The aim of this book is to further our understanding of how organizations perceive and interpret change and particularly the role that uncertainty plays in diminishing an organization's ability to react to change. The book provides an overview of the literature in the domain and reports on empirical findings made in the hotel industry. An excellent read for graduate students and researchers interested in organizational learning, interpretation and perceived environmental uncertainty.
