Divertimento KV.136 (125a) -
sheet music for String Quartet/String Orchestra - 2 violins, viola and cello.

The most well-known of Mozart's Divertimenti for strings.
Written when he was just 16 years old, this beautiful divertimento shows the talent and promise of style illustrated in Mozart's later works.

Its operatic, light-hearted character is full of contrasts of texture in which all the parts have something interesting to play.
In the first movement the second violin has a famous solo passage which is accompanied by pizzicati viola and cello, whilst the first violin plays an expressive vocal-like melody.

The Divertimento has three movements:

  • Allegro,
  • Andante,
  • Presto.

This PDF Download includes all the seperate parts:
Violin I, Violin II, Viola, Cello.

The perfect addition to every string player's repertoire folder.
